I walked into a win and I wanted to share it with you. I really want to shout it out. In going through the exercise on Toleration…I have been tolerating, putting up with a cluttered, unorganized bedroom closet.
Each time I looked at it, I was going to get to it one day soon. You know one of those little things that nags at you when you see it, but you don’t make the time. You say you’re going to do it but you just keep putting it off.
Whether you realize it or not it saps a little of your energy and clutters your mind. The powerful thing about this exercise is I acknowledged that it was a toleration (no judgement)…and as we say “out of nowhere” but we know better right… a burst of energy and determination came … and I de-cluttered and cleaned my bedroom closet. The closet wasn’t even on my to do list for the day. I jokingly said to my daughter, I can actually walk in and move around in my walk-in closet. How refreshing. I was able to throw things out, give things to good will, find shoes (hilarious) and gain a little more freedom by clearing that clutter from my mind. To say the least my hubby was amazed.
