Joyce is a teacher at heart! Her passion to educate, encourage and empower others to maximize their potential and work from their strengths led her to join the John Maxwell Team (JMT) as a Founding Partner and become a Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker. In February 2014 Joyce was selected to serve on the JMT President’s Advisory Council (PAC) and recently became a JMTouch Team Leader which onboards new members through their first 30 days on the team.

As her driving force to – Educate, Encourage and Empower – Joyce fosters an open environment of learning that builds self-confidence and gives you the power to step out of your comfort zone and overcome roadblocks standing in your way to success. In 2012, Joyce founded Leaders NorthWest (LNW), a Leadership Resource and Development Company to grow others through the study, understanding and practical application of John Maxwell’s proven leadership principles and methods. As John says, “Everything rises and falls on leadership.” Being personally trained by John and his teaching team gives you the assurance she will deliver first quality results to your bottom line!

With a successful career spanning over 25 years at Nordstrom, Joyce has the proven working knowledge and understanding how communications, leadership and team building all play an important role in organizational success. She also serves as the VP of Public Relations for the Nordstrom Raconteurs Toastmasters club in Seattle and holds a BA in Organizational Leadership and minor in Human Resources from Chapman University. Joyce currently lives in Seattle, WA with her husband Lewis and four children Rachel, David, Stuart and Archer.
